Delhi to Srinagar (Flight)
Arrive in Srinagar by flight. Transfer to your houseboat on Dal Lake. Enjoy a shikara ride on the lake in the evening. Attend a trip briefing session. Overnight in a traditional Kashmiri houseboat.
Srinagar Local Sightseeing
Explore Srinagar's attractions including Mughal Gardens (Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh), Shankaracharya Temple, and the old city with its wooden mosques. Visit the local market and enjoy Kashmiri cuisine. Overnight in Srinagar.
Srinagar to Sonamarg
Drive from Srinagar to Sonamarg, known as the "Meadow of Gold." The route follows the Sindh River and offers beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. Visit Thajiwas Glacier (optional pony ride). Overnight in Sonamarg.

After breakfast, drive from Kargil to Srinagar, crossing Zoji La Pass. Stop at Drass and the Kargil War Memorial. The landscape gradually changes from barren mountains to lush greenery as you approach Kashmir Valley. Reach Srinagar by evening and check into your hotel or houseboat. Overnight in Srinagar.
Srinagar to Delhi (Flight)
After breakfast, transfer to Srinagar airport for your flight to Delhi, marking the end of your Ladakh expedition.

Essential Information
Physical Fitness
This trip involves travel at very high altitudes (up to 18,380 ft) and some optional short treks. A good level of fitness is required. We recommend consulting with your doctor before the trip, especially if you have any pre-existing medical conditions.
Altitude Sickness
Altitude sickness is a significant risk at elevations above 8,000 ft. Our itinerary is designed for proper acclimatization, but it's important to stay hydrated, avoid alcohol, and inform your guide immediately if you experience symptoms like headache, nausea, or shortness of breath.
Weather Conditions
Weather in Ladakh can be unpredictable. During summer (June-September), daytime temperatures range from 15-30°C, dropping to 0-10°C at night. Always be prepared with layers, even in summer. Sudden rainfall or snowfall is possible at high passes.
Permits
Ladakh requires special Inner Line Permits for certain areas as they are close to international borders. We will arrange all necessary permits, but you must provide a valid government ID and passport-sized photographs in advance.
