At YOLO Adventures, we understand that plans can change. Our refund policy is designed to be fair to both our customers and our business, taking into account the significant planning and preparation that goes into each adventure.
By making a booking with YOLO Adventures, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined in this Refund Policy.
1Booking Deposits and Payments
Payment Schedule
- ✓Booking Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total trip cost is required to secure your reservation.
- ✓Final Payment: The remaining balance is due 60 days before the trip departure date.
- ✓Last-Minute Bookings: For bookings made within 60 days of departure, full payment is required at the time of booking.
All payments must be made in the currency specified in your booking confirmation. We accept payments via credit card, debit card, and bank transfer. For certain destinations, additional payment methods may be available.
2Cancellation by Traveler
If you need to cancel your trip, please notify us in writing as soon as possible. Cancellation charges will be applied based on the date we receive your written cancellation notice and the following schedule:

Less than 30 days | 100% of total trip cost (no refund) |
3Cancellation by YOLO Adventures
We reserve the right to cancel any trip due to insufficient enrollment, safety concerns, or circumstances beyond our control (such as natural disasters, political instability, or pandemic-related restrictions).
- ✓If we cancel due to insufficient enrollment: You will receive a full refund of all payments made to YOLO Adventures, or you may choose to transfer your payment to another available trip.
- ✓If we cancel due to circumstances beyond our control: We will refund all recoverable expenses. Non-recoverable expenses (such as permits, some accommodations, and certain transportation costs) may not be fully refundable.
YOLO Adventures is not responsible for additional expenses incurred by travelers in preparing for the trip (e.g., non-refundable air tickets, visa fees, gear purchases, or travel insurance).
4Trip Transfers
If you are unable to participate in your booked trip, you may transfer your booking to another person who satisfies all the conditions applicable to the trip, subject to the following conditions:
- ✓You must notify us in writing at least 30 days before the trip departure date.
- ✓The transferee must meet all requirements for the trip (including health, fitness, and experience levels).
- ✓A transfer fee of ₹5,000 will apply to cover administrative costs.
- ✓Both you and the transferee are jointly liable for payment of any balance due.
5Trip Changes and Postponements
Changing Your Trip
If you wish to change to a different trip or departure date, the following conditions apply:
- ✓Changes made 90+ days before departure: Subject to a ₹10,000 change fee plus any difference in trip cost.
- ✓Changes made 60-89 days before departure: Subject to a ₹15,000 change fee plus any difference in trip cost.
- ✓Changes made less than 60 days before departure: Treated as a cancellation and rebooking; cancellation fees will apply.
6Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that includes coverage for trip cancellation, trip interruption, medical expenses, emergency evacuation, and personal belongings. Appropriate travel insurance can help mitigate financial losses if you need to cancel your trip due to covered reasons.
Travel insurance is particularly important for adventure travel, which may involve remote locations, physical activities, and potential health risks.
We recommend purchasing travel insurance within 14 days of making your initial deposit to maximize coverage benefits, including pre-existing condition waivers.
7Refund Processing
Refunds will be processed within 30 days of receiving your cancellation notice. Refunds will be issued using the same payment method you used for the initial transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise.
- ✓Credit Card Payments: Refunds will be processed to the same credit card used for payment.
- ✓Bank Transfers: Refunds will be sent to the originating bank account. Bank fees may apply and will be deducted from the refund amount.

9Changes to This Refund Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. We will notify customers with existing bookings of any material changes that may affect their reservations.
