Our carefully planned route takes you through the lush green valleys of Kullu and Manali, the stark landscapes of Lahaul, and into the heart of Spiti Valley. Delhi/Chandigarh to Shimla
Begin your journey from Delhi or Chandigarh to Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh. The drive takes you through the beautiful foothills of the Himalayas. Upon arrival in Shimla, check into your hotel and attend a trip briefing session. If time permits, explore the famous Mall Road.
Shimla to Rampur
After breakfast, drive to Rampur, following the Sutlej River. The landscape gradually changes as you descend from Shimla. Rampur was once an important trading post on the old Hindustan-Tibet road. Explore the local market and the Padam Palace if time permits. Overnight in Rampur.
Rampur to Sangla
Drive from Rampur to the beautiful Sangla Valley in Kinnaur. The route follows the Sutlej River and passes through Karcham before entering the Baspa Valley. Sangla is known for its apple orchards, pine forests, and traditional wooden houses. Visit the Kamru Fort and explore the local village. Overnight in Sangla.
Sangla to Tabo
After breakfast, drive to Tabo, crossing into the Spiti Valley...

Pin Valley to Chandratal Lake
Drive from Pin Valley to Chandratal Lake, crossing the challenging Kunzum Pass (15,059 ft). The road conditions get tougher as you approach Lahaul Valley. Reach Chandratal by afternoon and set up camp near the lake. Spend the evening exploring the surroundings of this beautiful crescent-shaped lake and witness a spectacular sunset.
Chandratal to Manali
Wake up early to catch the sunrise at Chandratal. After breakfast, drive to Manali via Batal and Rohtang Pass (13,050 ft). The landscape gradually changes from barren mountains to lush greenery as you cross from Lahaul to Kullu Valley. Reach Manali by evening, marking the end of your Spiti Valley adventure.

Essential Information
Physical Fitness
This trip involves travel at high altitudes (up to 15,000 ft) and some optional short treks. A moderate level of fitness is required. We recommend consulting with your doctor before the trip, especially if you have any pre-existing medical conditions.
Altitude Sickness
Altitude sickness is a risk at elevations above 8,000 ft. Our itinerary is designed for proper acclimatization, but it's important to stay hydrated, avoid alcohol, and inform your guide immediately if you experience symptoms like headache, nausea, or shortness of breath.
Weather Conditions
Weather in the Himalayas can be unpredictable. During summer (June-September), daytime temperatures range from 15-25°C, dropping to 0-10°C at night. Always be prepared with layers, even in summer. Sudden rainfall or snowfall is possible at high passes.
Photography
Spiti Valley offers incredible photography opportunities. Remember to ask permission before photographing locals or inside monasteries. Bring extra batteries and storage cards, as charging facilities may be limited in remote areas.
