The Ultimate Road Trip to Lahaul & Spiti Valley

Journey through the cold desert mountain valleys

Trip Overview

Experience the breathtaking landscapes of Lahaul and Spiti Valley, often referred to as "Little Tibet," on this 9-day self-drive expedition through the high-altitude desert of the Himalayas. Navigate winding mountain roads, cross some of the world's highest motorable passes, and immerse yourself in the unique Buddhist culture of this remote region.

Spiti Valley, located in the northeastern part of Himachal Pradesh, is a cold desert mountain valley that sits at an average elevation of 12,500 feet above sea level. With its stark landscapes, ancient monasteries perched on hillsides, and traditional villages that seem frozen in time, Spiti offers a glimpse into a world that few travelers get to experience.

Our carefully planned route takes you from Chandigarh through Kaza (the heart of Spiti Valley) to Manali and back to Chandigarh. You'll visit thousand-year-old monasteries, stay in remote villages, cross high mountain passes, and witness some of the most spectacular scenery on the planet.
